With a 3-0 victory at Fulham, Leandro Trossard assisted on all three goals as Arsenal restored a five-point lead over the league's second-place team.

At Craven Cottage, the Gunners had it all too easy because the hosts were unable to establish any control over the game.

In the 21st minute, Gabriel Magalhaes headed in a Trossard corner to start a rapid scoring burst that put the visitors out of reach, according to Live Score.

Five minutes later, Gabriel Martinelli added a second, and shortly before halftime, Martin Odegaard all but sealed the match.

After Joao Palhinha was suspended for two matches, Marco Silva's team suffered their second consecutive loss, and Arsenal had no trouble splitting the Fulham middle.

It was a far more normal victory for the north London club, which is vying to capture their first league crown since 2003-04, after all the emotions of previous matches, including a last-gasp victory over Bournemouth that sparked wild celebrations from the Arsenal players and staff.

The Gunners did not take long to get going, and on minute 16, when Antonee Robinson accidentally put the ball in his own net after Bernd Leno had palmed it into the defender's path, they thought they had grabbed the lead.

After a thorough VAR review, it was determined that Martinelli was offside during the buildup, and the goal was therefore disallowed.

Moments later, with the pressure mounting from the visitors, Leno had to be ready to make a low save to save Granit Xhaka's shot.

In the 21st minute, Gabriel headed in a corner from Trossard to give them their just desserts.

On minute 26, the Gunners doubled their lead thanks to a deftly planned burst down the left, in which Trossard crossed for Martinelli, who easily outmuscled Robinson to score.

As Arsenal continued to dominate, former Brighton forward Trossard came close for them again, but his shot was just wide.

Just before halftime, Andreas Pereira received the ball from Aaron Ramsdale and had the finest chance of the first half for Fulham, but his shot went over the crossbar.

Just before halftime, an Arsenal goal was added as Fulham once more failed to stop a cross from the right, according to Live Score. Odegaard was identified in the middle.

When Fulham once more failed to stop a cross from the right, Arsenal added a third soon before halftime, according to Live Score. Odegaard took a touch to get space after being picked out in the center of the field before slamming the ball into the goal.

Despite having a better second-half start than the first, Fulham was unable to recover and win the game.

Aleksandar Mitrovic hit the crossbar from the ensuing corner after Ramsdale made a solid stop on Bobby Decordova-Reid in the 69th minute of play.
