A pastor, whose identity was unknown, along with his wife and three children made up the majority of the 15 victims during the one-hour attack.
At the scene of the tragedy on Saturday morning, SaharaReporters learned that the shooters entered the estate next to Champions Church at around 10 p.m. on Friday and opened fire randomly before fleeing with a number of victims.
A pastor, whose identity was unknown, along with his wife and three children made up the majority of the 15 victims during the one-hour attack.
At around 11 p.m., the shooters fled with the victims through the trees, but the vigilantes' gunfire forced them to let roughly seven people escape.
But the pastor's family—his wife and kids—stayed with the kidnappers.
Police officers from the Byzahin division and the Kubwa Area Command attended the area to gather preliminary information and questioned some of the victims, according to SaharaReporters.
The FCT police have not yet made a statement regarding the attack.
